What to expect?

Boat Tour:

First you would join our boat tour and sail among icebergs. See the lagoon and beautiful Fjallsjokull glacier outlet. You would come close to Icebergs and see quite an extraordinary calving part of Fjallsjokull. Feel the breeze and enjoy an easy calming introduction of our glacier journey.

Super Jeep drive & Glacier Hike:

After a short break, we will prepare you for an exciting glacier hike. First, we’ll take you on a thrilling drive through the valley near the glacier in our Super Jeep. These vehicles are not only fun to ride but are also widely used in Iceland for more adventurous journeys.

Once we arrive, we’ll step out of the Jeep and begin our hike in the stunning valley surrounding the Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon. During the hike, your guide will share insights into the history of this region, Icelandic culture, and glaciology. They will explain the unique aspects of our tour, especially in the context of global climate change. You’ll have the opportunity to walk on the ice and hike safely on the glacier, marvelling at the breathtaking ice formation. During the hike we cover roughly between 5-6 km together with glacier terrain. There are light incline heels easily manageable by people in good physical health.
